We had some unseasonably warm weather last week and I was thrilled to bust out some of my warm weather clothes for a brief few days. Here I’ve paired one of my glorious dad shirts with some black trousers and white sneakers (not pictured). I was truly trying to will Summer to return with my outfit choice.

Despite Fall and Winter fashion being fantastic, I’ve always been someone who prefers heat and despises the cold. That being said, I have been mentally preparing myself for the coming months of an icy hell by busting out my cold weather wardrobe, and I’ve become relatively excited to wear my coats and knits again. There is a pair of wool trousers that I’ve finally sent to the tailor for alterations and am particularly looking forward to wearing. 

I’ll just drown my sorrows in wool and cashmere for the time being.
